Remove my content from TikArc
If you are a creator and you do not want your public content shown on TikArc, you can ask us to remove it. This page explains how.
What TikArc does and does not host
TikArc does not host any video, picture or profile. It only surfaces publicly available data that TikTok already shows to anyone. When you open a profile or a video on TikArc, the information is fetched from public sources at that time. Our server may keep the public details it fetched for up to 10 minutes so the page loads quickly, and then fetches them again. A downloaded video goes to the visitor's device, and TikArc keeps no copy.
How to ask for removal
Write to [email protected]. Please use the subject line "Removal request".
What to include
- The address of the profile or video. For a profile this looks like
tikarc.com/user/@yourhandle, or your TikTok profile link. For a video, send the TikArc video page or the TikTok link. - Your @handle.
- A short line on what you want removed. For example "stop showing my profile" or "stop showing this one video".
- A way for us to check the request is yours. We may ask for this, so that other people cannot remove your content by pretending to be you. We will tell you what we need.
You do not need to give a reason. A reason helps us, but we do not require one.
What happens next
We read every request sent to [email protected]. If it is valid, we stop showing the content you named, and we reply to confirm. If we need more detail, we will ask.
What removal does and does not do
Removal on TikArc stops TikArc from showing the content you named. It does not remove anything from TikTok. TikArc cannot delete a post on TikTok, change your privacy settings there, or remove copies that other people have already saved to their own devices.
The best way to control who sees your content is in TikTok's own settings. If you switch your account to private on TikTok, TikArc can no longer show it. Changes there may take a short time to show up here.
We cannot promise a specific legal outcome. Where a request raises a legal question, we will say so, and we may ask for more information.
If content is still showing
Search engines may keep a page in their results for a while after we stop showing it. That page will stop working on its own, and you can also ask the search engine to update. If you see content you named still showing on TikArc, write to us again with the address.
