What you get
For a profile, you get a proper header: the picture, the display name, the @handle, a verified mark when the account has one, and the bio. Under it sits one row of counts: followers, following, likes and videos. Below that is a grid of the latest posts. You see the first ten, and a Load more button brings in more. A small line tells you how many videos are loaded out of the total, for example "10 of 487", so you always know what you are looking at.
For a video, you get a player that only loads the file when you press play, the caption, the view, like, comment and share counts, and a link to the creator's profile. A strip called More from this creator shows their other videos.
For downloads, two files are available today: the video as an MP4 at the best quality the source gives us, and the cover image.
Nothing here needs an account. You do not sign in, and no cookies are set.
On your own device, TikArc keeps a Recent list of what you opened, plus a My lists drawer for bookmarked profiles and downloaded videos. Both live in your browser and are never sent to us. Every removal has an Undo for a few seconds.
The interface comes in ten languages: English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Indonesian, German, French, Japanese, Vietnamese, Turkish and Italian.
Questions people ask
Do I need a TikTok account?
No. TikArc only reads public pages, so there is nothing to sign in to. If something is visible only to logged-in people on TikTok, we do not show it.
What can I paste into the box?
A username with or without the @, a full profile link, a full video link, or the short link the TikTok app gives you when you press Share. Short links are followed for you. Anything else gets a clear message, and your text stays in the box so you can fix it.
Where does the downloaded file go?
Wherever your browser saves downloads, usually a folder called Downloads. TikArc does not keep a copy. The video is also added to the Downloaded tab of My lists on your device.
Why did my download not start?
Usually the video was removed or made private, or the source did not hand over a file at that moment. The button returns to normal and shows a short message so you can try again.
Does TikArc show earnings or money estimates?
No. We show no earnings figures for any account, and there are no ads on the site.
Is my search history stored on a server?
No. Recent and My lists live in your browser's storage. If your browser blocks storage, TikArc tells you that lists cannot be saved instead of pretending they were.
